This Standard specifies requirements for the design, construction and performance of point type carbon monoxide (CO) fire detectors as used in fire detection, warning, control and intercom systems.
Scope
This Standard does not cover detectors installed in air handling ducts, although many provisions herein could be applied to such applications.
