New and amended Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods for Building Code Clauses released on 27 June 2019.
Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) updated Acceptable Solutions and Verification Methods for Building Code Clauses B1 - Structure, B2 - Durability, C1-C6 Protection from Fire, E2 - External Moisture, G4 – Ventilation, G12 - Water Supplies and G13 - Foul Water, and Associated Materials Incorporated by Reference.

Amendments to the following Verification Methods and Acceptable Solutions:

- G4/AS1 (Fourth Edition)
- G12/VM1 (Amd 12)
- G12/AS1 (Amd 12)

- G13/AS2 (Amd 8)

Newly issued Verification Methods and Acceptable Solutions:
The following Acceptable Solutions are revoked and will cease having legal effect on 31 October 2019:
- C/AS2 – for Buildings with Sleeping (non-institutional)
- C/AS3 – for Buildings where Care or Detention is provided (Risk Group SI)
- C/AS4 - for Buildings with Public Access and Educational Facilities (Risk Group CA)
- C/AS5 - for Buildings used for Business, Commercial and Low Level Storage (Risk Group WB)
- C/AS6 - for Buildings used for High Level Storage and Other High Risk Purposes (Risk Group WS)
- C/AS7 - for Buildings used for Vehicle Storage and Parking (Risk Group VP)
