This Technical Report establishes a classification of the chemical resistance of pipe materials to specified fluids over a range of temperatures.

Scope

The pipe materials covered by this classification are:

  • Low-density polyethylene PE-LD
  • High-density polyethylene PE-HD
  • Polypropylene PP Poly(vinyl chloride), unplasticized
  • PVC-U Poly(vinyl chloride), chlorinated
  • PVC-C Polybutene PB
  • Acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene ABS
