Description
Acceptable Solution G8/AS1 provides a means of compliance with Building Code Clause G8 Artificial Light. Building Code Clause G8 requires buildings to have sufficient artificial light to safeguard people from injury.
It requires spaces within buildings used by people to be provided with adequate artificial lighting to allow safe movement.
It requires illuminance of no less than 20 lux at floor level in exitways, access routes and common spaces within buildings.
