Description

The IKO Permatec Waterproofing System is a polymer modified bitumen applied over insulation board or a timber or concrete structural substrate in two layers with a nominal thickness of 6mm, and protection membrane to give a total thickness of up to 10mm.

This product certificate covers the use of the IKO Permatec Tanking System to resist the passage of ground water and water vapor to the inside of the building.

Scope

1. The IKO Permatec Tanking System must be installed in accordance with the relevant requirements of Asphaltech Mastic Asphalt Technical Manual 003.

2. The substrate must be dry, with no sharp projections.

3. All work must be carried out by IKO Permatec Waterproofing Products Ltd approved applicators.

4. Reasonable care in construction is required to avoid prolonged loading by sharp objects.
