Description
This Standard specifies requirements for the design and installation of sanitary plumbing and sanitary drainage, from the fixtures to a sewer, common effluent system or on-site disposal system, as appropriate.
The Standard applies to new installations as well as alterations, additions, or repairs to existing installations.

Scope
Construction of a sanitary plumbing and drainage installation in accordance with this Standard is deemed to satisfy the requirements of AS 3500.2.1.
