Description
This Standard provides listings of designations and chemical composition limits of copper and copper alloys in general use in Australia.
It includes refinery products, wrought products, ingot and cast products. Copper and copper alloy products used for the conveyance of drinking (potable) water and waste water may be subject to specific requirements as specified in relevant product Standards or specifications.
An appendix matches the designations with other common designations used internationally including those in ISO Standards.
