Description

This determination arises from a decision made by the authority to issue a code compliance certificate for a house at 2/13A, which included a surface water disposal scheme and retaining walls. Therefore I consider the matters to be determined are whether a)the current surface water disposal system  connected to the two properties complies with the requirements of Clause E1 Surface water of the Building Code that was current at the time the building consent was issued; b) the retaining walls to the north boundary of 2/13A comply with Clauses B1 Structure and B2 Durability of the Building Code that was current at the time the building consent was issued; and c) the new retaining wall to the east boundary of 2/13A complies with Clause F4 Safety from falling of the current Building Code.
