Regarding the refusal to issue a code compliance certificate for a house with a glass balustrade at 102 Oceanbeach Road, Tauranga
Scope
The matter for determination was whether the authority was correct in its decision to refuse to issue a code compliance certificate for the house because it is not satisfied that the glass panel balustrade complied with the Building Code.
In making this decision it was considered whether the glass balustrade system complied with Clauses B2 of the Building Code insofar as it relates to Clauses B1 Structure and F4 Safety from falling.
