2005/23: Refusal of a code compliance certificate for a building with a 'monolithic' cladding system: House 21

Abbreviation
2005/23
Valid from
25/02/2005

Format
PDF

Description

The application arose from the refusal by the territorial authority to issue a code compliance certificate for a 3-year old major extension to an existing house, together with a separate garage building, unless changes were made to their monolithic cladding systems.

This determination considered whether on reasonable grounds that the external wall claddings as installed, which were either applied to the new external walls of the extension and garage, or were fixed over the weatherboards of the existing house, complied with the building code
