Description

The application arose from the refusal by the territorial authority to issue a code compliance certificate for a 3-year old major extension to an existing house unless changes were made to its monolithic cladding system. 

The question to be determined was whether on reasonable grounds that the external wall cladding as installed, which was applied to all of the upper floor and part of the lower floor walls of the extension, complied with the Building Code
